Women's Golf Concludes ODAC Championship in Seventh

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's golf team wrapped up its 2025-26 season with a seventh-place showing at the 2026 ODAC Championship at the Williamsburg National Golf Course.

Randolph-Macon College won the championship, while the Hornets came in seventh with a three-round score of 1,025 (+161), highlighted by a 323 (+35) on Tuesday in the third round. The 323 is 42 strokes better than the team's first round performance and 14 strokes better than the second round.

Cierra Bigelow had the best finish for the Hornets, placing 23rd with a 74 (+2) on Tuesday. After starting the round with a bogey, Bigelow came right back with a birdie on two and seven straight pars. She then started the back nine with a birdie on ten before adding one more on 16.

Gaby Frick placed 26th after putting together an 82 (+10), starting the round with three straight pars or better. Frick landed a birdie on hole two and added eight pars throughout her day.

Alexa Strohman also scored an 82 (+10) for her final round. Strohman had a 40 on the front nine, helped out by a birdie on four. She then hit a birdie on 17, scoring a 42 on the back nine, finishing the tournament in 33rd.

Amanda Dasher kickstarted her round with a par on one en route to an 85 (+13). She strung together eight more pars throughout her round, helping her place 35th in the field.

Sophia Hansen rounded out the championship for the Hornets with an 88 (+16) on Tuesday. Hansen shot a 45 on the back nine but was two strokes better on the front half of the course with a 43.
