GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Shenandoah University wrestling team concluded its regular season with a 27-25 road victory over Greensboro College. The Hornets (5-8, 3-4) secured the win with two victories by fall, one by decision, and two via forfeited weight classes.
At 125 pounds and 133 pounds, Anakin Burks and Heath Burks each secured first-period falls, giving the Hornets an early 12-0 lead. Greensboro responded with a win at 141 pounds, as the reigning national champion defeated Sean Rinebolt, cutting the lead in half.
Shenandoah then capitalized on Greensboro's forfeits at 149 and 157 pounds, adding 12 more points to their total. At 165 pounds, Jalen Cornelius fought in a closely contested match but fell 7-5 by decision. Dylan Weaver followed at 174 pounds with a 2-0 decision victory.
Greensboro made a late push, winning the final three matches: a major decision (9-1) at 184 pounds and first-period falls at 197 and 285 pounds. Despite the late surge, the Hornets held on for the 27-25 victory.

- 174 pounds – Dylan Weaver (Shenandoah) wins by decision (2-0) over Adrian Soto-Perez.
- 184 pounds – Luke Gregory (Greensboro) wins by major decision (9-1) over Dylan Weigert.
- 197 pounds – Isaiah Manning (Greensboro) wins by fall over Robert Keener (2:22).
- 285 pounds – Jacob Barlow (Greensboro) wins by fall over Rives Hargis (1:09).
