Lenahan Earns ODAC Offensive Player of the Week

FOREST, Va. - Shenandoah University field hockey player Claudia Lenahan has earned ODAC Offensive Player of the Week in the first release of the 2025 season, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.

Lenahan, a forward, tallied four points (1 goal, 2 assists) this weekend in the Hornets' wins over DePauw University and Denison University during a weekend trip to Ohio.

In game one of the weekend, against the Tigers, Lenahan scored the first goal of the game and season for SU, which proved to be the game-winner as the Hornets won 4-0.

In Sunday's game versus the Big Red, Lenahan assisted on both of SU's goals. The first goal tied the game at one in the third quarter, with the latter coming in overtime as the Hornets prevailed, 2-1.

Through the first weekend of play, Lenahan is tied in the first in the ODAC in points. This is the the first time that Lenahan has earned a weekly award through the conference.
