SU Athletics Records 3.36 GPA in Fall 2025, 20 Teams Above 3.00

WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics recorded a 3.36 grade point average as a department during the Fall 2025 semester, surpassing last fall's mark of 3.30. Overall, 20 of SU's 23 teams posted a GPA of 3.00 or higher, including 11 teams with a 3.50 or better.

Women's basketball led the department with a 3.84 team GPA, closely followed by field hockey at 3.83. Women's cross country, women's tennis, and women's golf rounded out the top five teams overall, while baseball led all men's programs with a 3.55.

Across all teams, 93 Shenandoah student-athletes earned a perfect 4.00 GPA, with 17 programs having at least one student-athlete achieve the mark. In total, 376 student-athletes recorded a GPA of 3.50 or higher, while 540 achieved at least a 3.00 for the fall semester.

Baseball, men's basketball, men's soccer, women's basketball, women's cross country, women's golf, women's lacrosse, softball, women's tennis, and women's volleyball all improved their team GPA compared to the spring semester.
