FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University field hockey team swept this week's ODAC Player of the Week awards. Kierney Weigle was named Offensive Player of the Week, and Camryn DeLeva took home the defensive side of the award on Monday.

SU defeated Eastern Mennonite 11-0 at home on Wednesday, prior to ending its week with a 5-0 win against Batten University on Saturday.

Weigle collected five goals in the two games. She scored once in the win over the Royals and then added a career-high four goals against the Marlins. She became the first Hornet since Mairead McKibbin in 2022 to score four times in one game.

DeLeva anchored the Hornets' defense to help with the two shutouts. The defender scored in the midweek win and then had two assists on Saturday, both coming on goals from Weigle.

Weigle currently leads the ODAC in goals and points with 15 and 34, respectively. DeLeva leads the conference in assists with eight.

The Hornets are in action this Wednesday at 6 p.m. against Roanoke College at home.
