No. 23 UMW Defeats Men's Tennis

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team was defeated 5-2 on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match against No. 23 University of Mary Washington.

The Hornets (0-1) earned two victories in singles, while the Eagles (1-0) took the team point in doubles and won a close three-set match at singles No. 4.

Dominick Suwak won for SU at the top spot with a 7-5, 7-6 (8-6) win in straight sets. Shine Tokas won a 6-0, 6-3 match on court three for a second team point for the Hornets.
