Women's Tennis Claims Two All-ODAC Selections

FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's tennis team took home two All-ODAC Second Team honors, with Olivia Guzzo earning No. 2 singles honors and Leigha Montrief and Kendra Gillette winning the award for No. 3 doubles.

Guzzo had a 5-3 record in ODAC competition and went 10-5 overall. She concluded the regular season with three straight wins in singles and defeated opponents in straight sets six times this season. Her 10 wins in singles led the way for the Hornets.

Montrief and Gillette went 5-3 in the ODAC this season as a duo and had an overall record of 8-8. The duo won their last four matches of the regular season and won two matches by the score of 6-0 throughout the year.

This is Guzzo's third All-ODAC award, after earning second-team honors in singles and doubles for the 2023-24 season. Additionally, this is the first time either Gillette or Montrief have been named all-conference. 

The program now has 32 all-time all-conference selections, with 14 coming since joining the ODAC.
