FOREST, Va. - As they prepare for the ODAC Championship weekend, it was announced that the Shenandoah University baseball program earned four All-Conference awards on Thursday, as announced by the league.

Relief pitcher Liam Stewart and outfielder Jaime Padilla led the Hornets on the first team. JP Williams earned second team honors as a catcher and Carl Keenan closed out the honorees on the third team as a second baseman.

Stewart, who was named a preseason All-American, shut ODAC opponents down this season with a 1.56 ERA in eight ODAC appearances. In those games, he pitched 17 innings, had a 0.76 WHIP, punched out 15, and held opponents to a .158 batting average.

Padilla, a team captain for the Hornets, batted .370 in 20 conference games. The senior acquired 30 hits, 10 stolen bases, 23 RBI, and an OPS of 1.012. He also had two home runs, including a three-run shot in the team's win at Lynchburg.

Williams, in his first season with SU, had a team-high .400 batting average in ODAC games out of the hitters who met the minimum. The catcher had 26 hits, 11 which landed for extra bases, and drove in 22 runs. From behind the plate he threw out five runners.

Kennan, the primary second baseman for Shenandoah, rattled off a .378 batting average, while starting in all 20 ODAC games. He had three home runs, 19 RBI, and had the team-high in stolen bases with 13.

These four honorees gives the program 146 all-time all-conference selections.

The Hornets play Randolph-Macon College later today at 6 p.m. in the team's first game of the double-elimination ODAC Championship weekend.
