FOREST, Va. - Ahead of the 2026 season, the Shenandoah University field hockey team was voted third in the ODAC Preseason poll, in rankings released by the conference on Monday.

The University of Lynchburg tops this year's poll with seven first-place votes, while Washington and Lee University is second with the remaining first-place votes. SU was awarded 52 points in the poll for its third-place ranking.

Shenandoah went 7-1 in the ODAC in 2025 and made it to the conference championship game for the third consecutive year. Looking at the Hornets 2026 roster, SU returns last year's ODAC Rookie of the Year, Reagan Flory, along with five other All-ODAC recipients from 2025.

The season starts on September 1 at 7 p.m. with a non-conference home game versus Thomas College. The Hornets' ODAC slate begins on October 3 at 1 p.m. on the road at Washington and Lee.
