Track and Field Releases 2026-27 Indoor and Outdoor Schedules

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's and women's track and field programs posted their 2026-27 indoor and outdoor schedules on Friday afternoon.

The Hornets' indoor season begins with a pair of home meets. The first home meet is on December 6 with the Holiday Kickoff Open. Then on January 10, SU hosts its annual Kaye & JJ Smith Invitational.

The final three weekends of January, Shenandoah heads to the Cardinal Track & Field Classic, hosted by Catholic, Bridgewater's Shane Stevens Winter Invitational, and Ithaca's Bomber Invitational.

Prior to indoor championships, the Hornets compete at Franklin & Marshall for the Blue & White Invite, Roanoke for the Joe LaRocco Invitational, and another trip to Bridgewater for the Rockingham Collegiate Classic.

This season's ODAC Indoor Track and Field Championships are hosted at the Rockingham Recreational Center in Penn Laird, Virginia.

The Hornets are back at home for the NCAA Final Qualifier in March. The NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships are in Spokane, Washington, starting on March 12.

The outdoor portion of the schedule starts at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational for a three-day meet in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The following four meets are all in Virginia for the Hornets as they head to Bridgewater, William & Mary, Eastern Mennonite University, and the University of Lynchburg. The same weekend as the meets at EMU and Lynchburg, SU will send a group of student-athletes to the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University.

Bridgewater hosts SU one more time before the ODAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Washington and Lee University.

Widener University hosts a final qualifier on May 17, ten days prior to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio.
