Field Hockey Moves Up One Spot in National Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Shenandoah University field hockey team moved up one spot in this week's Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Poll.

After being ranked 20th in the preseason, the Hornets moved up to 19th in this week's rankings after going 2-0 to begin the season.

Shenandoah started its season with a 7-1 win over Thomas College (ME) on Tuesday, before completing a comeback for a 4-2 win against Denison University on Saturday.

The University of Lynchburg and Washington and Lee University join SU in the rankings, as the three teams representing the ODAC in the poll.

The Hornets are back on the field on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Hood College for their first road game of the season.
