Neumann Doubles Up Men's Lax

ASTON, Pa. - Neumann College broke open a close game with five goals in the final 15 minutes of play Saturday to defeat the Shenandoah University men's lacrosse team 16-8 in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action.

SU (2-5, 0-2) trailed 6-3 at the half and 11-7 after three, but saw it comeback chances end when NC (1-3, 1-1) pumped in five of six fourth period goals.

Freshman Michael West (Lutherville, Md./Towson) led Shenandoah with two goals and an assist while junior Keith Reynolds (Bear Mountain, N.Y./O'Neill) and senior Chris Keller (Smithsburg, Md./Smithsburg) each had two goals.

Senior goalie Dave Behan (Holtsville, NY/Sachem) made 10 saves in the losing effort.

Shenandoah is now off until hosting Wesley College in a PAC contest next Saturday. Shentel Stadium game time is 2:00.
