Griffis Named to All-ODAC Third Team

FOREST, Va. - Sophomore midfielder Cody Griffis has been named Third Team All-ODAC for men's lacrosse in selections announced by the league on Wednesday.

In ten ODAC games, Griffis led the Hornets in scoring with 25 goals and in points with 28. Additionally, in conference play, he had three man-up goals, eight groundballs, and one caused turnover.

He scored in each ODAC game for SU, having multi-goal games in eight of them. The midfielder registered a season-high six goals in the team's 16-4 win at Averett University back in April. 

Overall, Griffis started in all 18 games and tallied 34 goals, nine assists, for 43 points. He also led the team with 125 shots with a .272 shooting percentage.

This is Griffis' first All-ODAC selection and the program's 48th all-time.
