OBERLIN, Ohio - Oberlin College used a goal with 39 seconds remaining to sneak out an 11-10 victory over visiting Shenandoah in non-conference men's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon.

Shenandoah (2-7) led 4-2 after one and 8-7 heading into the final 15 minutes of play, but the Yeomen (5-4) scored four of the game's final six goals.

The last goal came with just 39 ticks left when Will Jaffee took a feed from behind and slipped his shot past SU keeper JD Killian (Stafford, Va./North Stafford).

The hosts comeback ruined another solid performance by the Shenandoah attack. Senior James Hernandez (Blue Ridge Summit, Pa./HCC) and freshman Ian McWilliams (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) both recorded a hat trick while Elmer Baker (Fort Montgomery, N.Y./O'Neill) had one goal.

The Hornets are back in action Wednesday afternoon in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference contest against College Misericordia. Shentel Stadium game time is 3:00.
