FREDERICK, Md. - Shenandoah University got its most dominating men's lacrosse victory of the 2005 season Thursday afternoon with a 19-1 win at Hood College.

The Hornets (4-6) jumped all over the first-year Blazers (0-5) for six goals in the first quarter and led 16-0 before HC scored its only goal at the 13:27 mark of the fourth.

SU only outshot Hood 39-25 for the game, but SU goalies John Schaeferand Mark Verrilli combined to make 17 saves.

Freshman Stephen Mayor led the offense with seven goals and three assists while senior Paul Evancoe had five goals and three assists and sophomore Martin Carlson three goals and six assists. Shenandoah had eight different players score at least one point in the game.
