RALEIGH, N.C. - Shenandoah University continued its surprising run through the USA South Conference softball tournament Saturday morning with a 2-0 victory over Greensboro College.

The win gives SU (11-20) two victories at the USA South Conference Tournament for the first time ever. The Hornets now will face Christopher Newport in an elimination game at 5:00.

Shenandoah got all of the runs it would need for Tana Bartek (4-8) in the fifth inning. Freshman Jessica Bollinger singled up the middle, scoring Teresa Prezzy from second base. Prezzy reached on a one-out single to right.

Prezzy scored an unearned run in the seventh, but it was not needed as Bartek threw her second shutout in eight days by tossing a four-hitter. She walked just one and struck out five.

Prezzy and Alicia Sanders both had two hits to lead the offense while Bollinger had the only RBI.
