RADNOR, Pa. - Top seeded Cabrini College ended the Shenandoah University's 2005 men's lacrosse season Wednesday afternoon with an 18-5 victory over the Hornets in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference semi-finals.

Cabrini (9-5) now moves onto the PAC championship on Saturday against No. 3 Villa Julie. The Mustangs advanced to the final with a 6-3 victory over second seeded Wesley College Wednesday.

Shenandoah (5-9) saw its hosts score the first 17 goals of the game, including taking a 13-0 lead into the halftime lockerroom.

Senior Mark Phillips scored six goals and junior Paul Middleton added five to lead Cavaliers offense while Martin Carlson led SU with two goals and one assist.

Hornets goalie Mark Verrilli made 11 saves before yielding to John Schaefer midway through the third quarter.
