WINCHESTER, Va. - College Misericordia scored on its first eight shots Saturday afternoon to key an 16-8 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference men's lacrosse victory over host Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars (6-9, 4-3 PAC) scored six of eight goals in the first period and all eight of the second period tallies to down the Hornets (2-11, 1-6 PAC). CM led 8-2 by the time SU keeper Mark Verrilli made his first save of the game at the 11:28 mark of the second.

Chris Kurinec opened this run with a pair of goals in the first 68 seconds to give the visitors a lead they would not relinquish. Following a Ben Page goal at the 10:39 mark, the Cougars ran off a 10-1 run to take a 12-2 lead into the halftime lockerroom.

Sophomore Teddy Rogers finally snapped a 18:24 scoreless streak with a man-up goal off of Paul Evancoe's assist, but the deficit was too great.
