WINCHESTER, Va. – Wesley College used a strong start to Wednesday's Pennsylvania Athletic Conference men's lacrosse contest to key a 21-7 victory over host Shenandoah.

The Wolverines (5-5, 2-1 PAC) held Shenandoah (6-2, 2-1) scoreless for the initial 15:23 as they tallied the game's first four goals. SU was able to muster just two shots in that first quarter with neither of them being on goal.

Sophomore James Gonzalez broke the scoreless streak for the hosts with an unassisted goal at 14:37 of the second, but WC pulled away by closing the half on a 4-1 run.

The Wolverines extended this spurt with the first two goals of the third, and after Ben Page made it 10-3 at 12:36 of the third, Wesley reeled off six of the game's next seven goals.

The visitors had 11 different men score at least one goal with Dan Skeels and Rob King scoring four times and Nick Pisacano three. Pisacano added three assists to give him a game-high six points in the winning effort.

Wesley outshot SU 59-24 and also held a 48-46 advantage in groundballs. Shenandoah doubled the Wolverines up by winning 20 of 30 faceoffs.
