RALEIGH, N.C. - Host Peace College staged a pair of rallies Friday afternoon to sweep visiting Shenandoah 4-3 and 7-5 in a USA South Conference softball doubleheader.
The Pacers (25-13, 7-7 USA South) scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning of game one and three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning of the nightcap to steal the victories.
Shenandoah (13-17, 4-10) had gone up 3-0 in the opener with one run in the second and two more in the sixth.
In game two, the Hornets rallied from a 3-0 deficit with a four-run fourth, but PC was able to answer one inning later with what proved to be the game-winning runs.

Katie Haskins led SU at the plate in game with one with two hits in four at-bats. Haskins (5-11) also took the loss from the pitching circle after allowing four runs (two earned) on nine hits in six innings. She struck out six.
FreshmanÂ
AJ Lekki (7-5) was the game two loser. She gave up six runs (four earned) on 11 hits in 4.1 innings.Â
Brittany Bailey got the final five outs for Shenandoah.
