WINCHESTER, Va. - Host Virginia Wesleyan a pair of strong starts in doubles to key a pair of ODAC tennis victories over Shenandoah.

The SU women (2-3, 0-3 ODAC) fell 8-1 while the SU men (1-3, 0-2) dropped a 9-0 decision.

Freshman Molly Barb was the lone winner for the Hornets, winning 6-2, 1-0 (retired) over Victoria Ryherd at No. 2 singles.

The closest men's match also came at No. 2 singles, where Jeremy Parel fell 4-6, 6-0, 6-0 to Drew Tomajczyk.

Both teams are back in action tomorrow in non-league matches against Ferrum. These two matches will be played at a neutral site in Lynchburg.
