BRIDGEWATER, Va. – Host Bridgewater College continued its winning ways Friday with a 9-0 ODAC women's tennis victory over Shenandoah.
The Eagles (11-2, 4-2 ODAC) dropped just five games in doubles to take an early 3-0 lead over Shenandoah (3-7, 0-7) before winning five of six singles matches in straight sets.
The final singles match, between Olivia Stone and Amber Lake at No. 5, was halted after Lake was unable to continue due to illness following the opening set.
Molly Barb, at No. 2 singles, and Rachel Gross at No. 4, both won a total of three games.
The women continue this ODAC road trip on Wednesday at Sweet Briar.
