LYNCHBURG, Va. - Host Randolph College was strong in singles Saturday afternoon to key a 6-3 ODAC women's tennis victory over Shenandoah.

Shenandoah (7-3, 2-3 ODAC) took the early lead by winning in the top two doubles matches only to see Randolph (9-4, 5-3) rally in singles.

The WildCats won at Nos. 2 through 6 singles to steal the victory over SU.

Sophomore Molly Barb was the lone singles winner, winning 7-6 (8-6), 4-6, 6-2 at No. 1.

The Hornets lost in three sets at Nos. 2 and 5 and saw the second set of the match at No. 6 to go into a tiebreaker.

Barb combined with Shannon Allin at No. 1 doubles with Amber Lake and Rachel Gross winning at No. 2.

The Hornets take on the other set of hornets, the Lynchburg Hornets, tomorrow at noon in another ODAC match.
