LYNCHBURG, Va. - Host Randolph College continued its strong women's tennis season with a 8-0 ODAC victory over Shenandoah Saturday afternoon.

Playing indoors at the Crosswhite Athletic Club, Randolph (12-3, 9-2 ODAC) swept the three doubles matches and all five of the singles matches played versus SU (3-10, 1-8).

The closest match came at No. 3 doubles where Denise Vollmer and Audrea Wright fell 8-7 (7-4).

The 'Cats dropped just eight games in winning the five singles matches in straight sets.

The women return home on Wednesday for the first of two ODAC matches to finish the season. SU hosts Sweet Briar in a 4 p.m. contest.
