VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 ODAC decision at Virginia Wesleyan Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Morgan Fuqua had the closest matches for the Hornets (2-1, 0-1 ODAC).

In doubles, she combined with Madison Hansen to fall 9-7 at No. 1.

At No. 1 singles, Fuqua fell 7-5, 5-7, 0-1 (8-10) to Makayla Velic.

Hansen also had a three-set singles match, dropping a 6-7 (0), 6-2, 0-1 (5-10) decision to Katie Staman at No. 3.

The women continue this weekend road trip on Sunday with an ODAC match at Randolph-Macon.
