BUENA VISTA, Va. - Southern Virginia continued its strong women's tennis season with a 9-0 non-league victory over Shenandoah University Friday afternoon.
The Knights (13-3) dropped just six total games in winning the three doubles matches over the Hornets (3-4).
SVU won the six singles matches in straight sets with the match-clinching victory coming at No. 2.
Alyssa White had the closest match of the day. Playing for the first time at No. 1, she fell 6-1, 6-3 to Elizabeth Fuchs.
The women host Stevenson University Sunday in its Senior Day match.
