Women's Tennis Drops Finale

ROANOKE, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's tennis team completed its season Saturday with a 7-2 loss at Hollins University.

Hollins (5-11, 3-7 ODAC) took a 2-1 lead after doubles before clinching with wins in the Nos. 2-7 singles matches.

Alyssa White and Madison Hansen had the Hornets (4-11, 2-9) doubles wins. The duo were 8-5 victors over Kate Woodruff and Velerie Sargeant.

White and Woodruff met again in singles with White coming out on top 6-0, 6-4.

Emma Crue had a three-set match in singles, winning the first set 6-4 before dropping the second, 6-3. Sarah Jordan Snoddy then took the third set tiebreaker 10-4.

Shenandoah will announce its 2018-19 schedule this summer.
