CHESTER, Pa. – Shenandoah University scored the final four goals Saturday afternoon on its way to a 12-10 non-conference women's lacrosse victory at Widener University.
Shenandoah (5-2) trailed 6-1 at the end of one, but rallied back to steal the victory from the Pride (5-1).

Trailing by that 6-1 score after Widener scored the final four goals of the opening stanza, SU clawed back by outscoring WU, 4-1, in the second.
Widener was able to hold the Hornets off for another 15 minutes, maintaining its two-goal advantage by splitting six third quarter tallies.
Shenandoah, which had cut the deficit to one goal on three previous occasions, finally brought the game back to even with a pair of
Natalie Nichols goals to start the fourth.
Sixty-two seconds after Nichols tied the game at 10-10,
Ainsley Buckner, who had assisted on the game-tying goal, notched the game-winner.
With 1:05 to play,
Emma Stiffler set up
Reilly Cisar for an insurance goal and provided the final margin of victory.
Nichols led the victors with four goals with Stiffler registering four points on a goal and three assists.
Cisar had three goals with
Kathleen Donovan scoring two goals and both Buckner and
Kate Vendemia posting a goal and an assist.
Widener outshot SU, 32-30, with the Hornets having a 20-17 advantage on groundballs and winning 14 of 25 draws.
Ashley MacFarlane had 10 saves in the win.

Shenandoah travels to Bridgewater Friday for a 7 p.m. contest versus the Eagles. This game will be played as a non-conference contest.
