BRIDGEWATER, Va. – Shenandoah University saw three women record hat tricks in a 19-6 non-conference victory at Bridgewater Friday night.
Playing in a non-conference contest, Bridgewater (4-6) struck first just 48 seconds after the first whistle but Shenandoah (6-1) would rattle off three straight goals and would not trail the Eagles the rest of the night.

The two teams struggled offensively in the first quarter, scoring just four times going into the second stanza.
The Hornets 3-1 lead set the visitors up for a successful night on the attacking end.
Emily Lerch's first goal of the night put SU ahead for good at the 5:24 mark.
BC was not able to hold its stout defense in the second quarter and Shenandoah's attack was able to find the openings and outscore the hosts 8-2.

Emma Stiffler found first-year
Amy Bell with just two seconds remaining in the first half to give Shenandoah a 11-3 lead going into the break.
Stiffler, Emilly Onorato and
Paige Padberg buried shots in the third quarter with an Eagles goal at 8:06 had the scoreboard showing 15-4 in favor of the visitors at the end of the third.
Reilly Cisar netted her third goal of the night along with Bell and Stiffler in the final stanza, giving all three women a hat trick for the victors.
The Hornets were able to capitalize on both of the Eagles' yellow cards, going 2-for-2 in woman-up scoring opportunities.
SU's defense held BC to just 13 shots and were successful on 12-of-13 clears.
The visitors held a 17-12 advantage in draw controls.
Natalie Nichols along with Lerch and Onorato all recorded two goals.
Kat Donovan dished out two assist and 11 women recorded at lease one point in the win under the lights.

Shenandoah hosts Mary Washington at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the Hornets penultimate non-league contest of the season.
