WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's lacrosse team earned its eighth victory of the season Wednesday night with a 19-13 ODAC home victory over Randolph-Macon.
Shenandoah (8-4, 3-1 ODAC) reeled off a five-goal run over the start of the second quarter to pull away from the Yellow Jackets (5-7, 2-2).

Reilly Cisar set up
Ainsley Buckner to knot the game at 3-3 and begin the five-goal run.
Nearly four minutes into the second, Cisar put on top to stay by finishing off a feed from
Emma Stiffler. Stiffler then scored back-to-back at 11:08 and 10:36 before
Amy Bell completed the run at 8:02 off of another Stiffler assist.
Thanks to a Buckner-to-Cisar goal at 25 seconds, Shenandoah took a 10-7 lead into the halftime break.
Macon would cut the deficit to two goals on three occasions early in the third before another SU run, this one 4-0, put the hosts in total control with a 16-10 lead by 13:35 mark of the fourth.
R-MC would get no closer than four goals the rest of the way.
StIffler had a game-high nine points on five goals and four assists with
Emily Onorato adding three goals and two assists and Cisar four goals and one assist.
Eight different women registered at least one point each in the win.
Shenandoah outshot Macon, 44-23, and had an 18-9 edge in groundballs. R-MC had a 19-16 edge in draw controls.
