LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's lacrosse team earned its second straight win Friday afternoon with a 15-11 ODAC victory at the University of Lynchburg.
Shenandoah (9-4, 4-1 ODAC) outscored its fellow set of ODAC Hornets 6-1 in the fourth quarter to earn its fourth straight victory over Lynchburg (5-9, 3-3).

Trailing 10-9 after Lynchburg scored with 66 seconds remaining in the third, SU went to work in the final stanza.
Amy Bell knotted the game at 10-10 off of a
Kathleen Donovan assist at 12:44, and just 43 seconds later,
Emily Onorato gave the visiting Hornets the lead for good by finishing an
Emma Stiffler feed. Stiffler, who finished the game with five goals, drew three women to herself on a dodge before finding the wide open Onorato for the go-ahead goal.
Stiffler scored the game-winner at 10:45, and after Lynchburg cut the deficit to 12-11 with an unassisted goal at 8:11, began a three-goal run to close out the game with another unassisted goal at 7:11.
Stiffler scored her fifth and final goal at 5:51 and
Natalie Nichols closed the book off of a
Madison Re assist at 1:34.
Shenandoah, which won all eight fourth quarter draws, killed off the final 94 seconds to secure the victory.
SU outshot the host Hornets 29-24 and won 19 of 30 draws. Lynchburg scooped up 16 of the game's 26 groundballs.
Shenandoah goalkeeper
Ashley MacFarlane made seven saves.
Stiffler led the victors with five goals and two assists for seven points with Onorato (three goals, one assist) and Re (two goals, two assists) both contributing four points.
Ainsley Buckner had two goals and one assist for three points.
