WINCHESTER, Va.- The Shenandoah University women's lacrosse team honored the program's five seniors prior to a 24-4 ODAC victory versus Virginia Wesleyan Saturday.
The Hornets (10-5, 5-2 ODAC) scored seven goals in the first quarter and never looked back in the 20-goal win over the Marlins (9-6, 5-1).

In a game where the Hornets never trailed,
Reilly Cisar scored two goals in the first 90 seconds giving SU an early advantage.
After VWU responded with its first goal, Shenandoah scored five goals in the last four minutes of the opening quarter.
Ainsley Buckner and
Emma Stiffler each tallied two goals in that four-minute span.
Up 11-3, the Hornets found the net five straight times to end the first half to take a 16-3 lead into the break.
Amy Bell, Stiffler, Buckner, and Cisar each had multiple goals in the half.
The last two quarters proved to be the same with SU adding eight goals in the final 30 minutes.
Paige Padberg scored two goals in the fourth before Stiffler found fellow senior
Natalie Nichols for the final goal at the buzzer.

Paige Colvin,
Kathleen Donovan,
Ashley Grimes, Nichols, and Stiffler all earned the start today. They combined for six goals and 12 points on the special day.
