LYNCHBURG, Va. – No. 13 University of Lynchburg used a strong second half to key a 19-8 ODAC men's lacrosse victory over visiting Shenandoah University Saturday night.
Shenandoah (9-3, 4-1 ODAC) knotted the game at 6-6 as halftime dawned, but Lynchburg (7-4, 3-1) had an answer.

The southern ODAC Hornets scored the initial six goals of the third period to take a lead they would not relinquish versus SU.
Shenandoah had brought the game back to level by scoring all three of the game's second quarter goals.
Robert Harvey started the run with a goal at 12:35,
Max Myers brought SU to within one by scoring two minutes later and then
Chris Baker tied it at 6-6 with an unassisted tally at 2:30.
Stephen Graham broke Lynchburg's scoring string with an unassisted goal at 2:21 of the third.
Lynchburg then clinched the win by scoring seven of the game's eight fourth-quarter goals, including six straight to close out the contest.
Graham and Baker had two goals each to lead the Shenandoah offense.
Lynchburg outshot SU, 46-34, had a 37-27 edge in groundballs and won 21 of 30 draws at the faceoff 'x'.
Mark Isabelle had 14 saves in the loss.
