LEXINGTON, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's tennis team saw its season come to an end Saturday with a 5-0 loss to No. 18 Washington & Lee in the ODAC Tournament semi-finals.

The Generals (14-6) needed to win just three on-court matches as Shenandoah (10-5) defaulted at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

Playing indoors at the Duchossois Tennis Center, W&L put itself one victory from advancing to the tournament championship by winning 8-3 at No. 1 singles and 8-0 at No. 2.

The Generals then clinched with a win at love in the No. 4 singles match.

As per conference tournament protocol, the remaining four matches (Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 5 singles) were abandoned with the team result determined.
The closest match at that point was at No. 2 singles, where
Jahveesha Combs trailed 4-3 in the opening set.
