WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's lacrosse team won its second consecutive contest of the season Saturday with a 15-8 non-league home victory over Penn College of Technology.
Shenandoah (2-4) used a four-goal run in the second period to take a lead it would not relinquish versus the Wildcats (5-2).

After PCT took a 3-2 lead by scoring the initial goal of the second, the Hornets responded with four straight goals from the 11:29 to 1:42 marks to lead, 6-3.

Tim Marshall's club ended up taking a 7-5 lead into the break as the 'Cats scored twice and Shenandoah once in the final 94 seconds of the quarter.
The visitors cut the deficit to one, 7-6, thanks to a goal 90 seconds into the third, but SU once again put together run to pull away. This one, a 6-0 spurt that bridged the end of the third quarter, gave the Hornets a 13-6 lead with 9:42 remaining.
Max Myers had a natural hat trick during the run with
Stephen Graham scoring a goal and an assist and
Logan Clingerman dishing out two assists.
The two teams split the final four goals of the game with
Matt Daniel scoring at 1:35 and 47 seconds to give Marshall the seven-goal victory.
Daniel led the victors with four goals and one assist for five points with
Stephen Graham chipping in two goals and two assists for four points and Myers four goals.
Shenandoah outshot the 'Cats, 43-32 and had a 41-36 advantage on groundballs. PCT won 14 of the game's 25 faceoffs.
Mark Isabelle had 11 saves for SU.
