WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's lacrosse team ran its winning streak to three games Wednesday evening with a 15-9 non-league victory over Marymount.
Shenandoah (3-4) took a one-goal lead after one before pulling away from the Saints (3-4).

The Hornets outscored Marymount by a combined four goals in the second and third periods, scoring three times in each stanza while giving up just one in the second and another in the third.
After falling behind 3-0 in the first 5:19 of the contest, SU scored seven of the game's next eight goals to take a 7-4 lead with 6:44 to play in the second. Five different men scored during this run with
Logan Clingerman and
Stephen Graham both tallying twice.
Marymount scored the initial goal of the second half, at 12:39, but Shenandoah started a 4-0 run just 15 seconds later that pushed the hosts advantage out to 12-6 with 13:40 to play. MU got no closer than five goals the rest of the way.
Graham, Clingerman, and
Max Myers led the way with four points apiece with Myers scoring four goals and both Graham and Clingerman adding one assist to go along with three goals each.
Mark Isabelle made 14 saves in the victory and
Aaron Coombs had a game-high four caused turnovers.
The Hornets outshot their visitors, 44-30, and won 16 of the 28 face-offs. Marymount had a 39-35 edge on groundballs.

Shenandoah is off until hosting Randolph-Macon next Wednesday at 7 p.m. in a non-league contest between the two ODAC rivals.
