WINCHESTER, Va. – No. 3 Shenandoah University ran its winning streak to 10 games Tuesday afternoon with a 15-0 ODAC victory over Eastern Mennonite.
Shenandoah (20-2, 7-1 ODAC) scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back versus the Royals (5-18, 1-8).
IN BRIEF
The six runs were all scored with two outs as SU combined three hits along six consecutive walks off of three EMU pitchers to put the game away early.
Colby Martin,
Gavin Horning, and
Pearce Bucher went single, single, double, respectively, before the wheels came off for the Royals pitching staff.

Kyle Lisa,
Ryan Clawson,
Frankie Ritter, and
Kooper Anderson drew those consecutive bases on balls with Madagan and Anderson drawing their walks on four pitches.
Shenandoah sent 12 men to the plate in that first inning before adding onto its lead with two runs each in the second and third, one in the sixth, and four more in the seventh.
The Hornets banged out 13 hits in the win with Bucher finishing his afternoon 5 for 5 with four RBI on three doubles and
Gavin Horning 3 for 4 with two runs batted in.
Senior
Jacob Bell (4-0), the ODAC Pitcher of the Week, struck out eight and scattered five hits in his seven innings of work.
Jackson Sherman pitched the eighth and
Dominic Pancione the ninth with Sherman striking out two and Pancione one.
Skylar Lacks (0-1) took the loss for EMU. He allowed six runs on three hits and three walks in 2/3 of an inning.
