WINCHESTER, Va. – No. 22 Washington & Lee won all seven contested matches Tuesday in a 7-2 ODAC women's tennis victory over host Shenandoah.
SU (4-6, 1-3 ODAC) led 2-0 as the match started because W&L (9-4, 6-0) defaulted at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
UP NEXT
The Generals tied the match with 8-2 victories at both No. 1 and 2 doubles before winning four of the five contested singles matches in straight sets.
Jahveesha Combs, playing No. 1, had extended her match into a third set before falling, 1-6, 6-4, 0-1 (6-10).
Washington & Lee dropped a combined four games at Nos. 2 through 5.
