BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's lacrosse team ran its winning streak to four games Wednesday evening with a 22-8 ODAC victory at Bridgewater.
Shenandoah (9-6, 4-2 ODAC) never trailed, but needed an 11-1 run from the 6:23 mark of the second to the 4:30 mark of the third to put away the Eagles (9-6, 4-2).

The Hornets led, 6-5, as
Emma Stiffler started that run with an unassisted goal at 6:23, and she added three more goals along with three from
Reilly Cisar and two from
Ainsley Buckner to turn that one-goal lead into a 17-6 advantage.
After BC scored at 2:44, Shenandoah answered back with five straight to extend its lead out to 22-7 with 3:37 remaining. Bridgewater scored the game's final goal with 96 seconds remaining.
Stiffler led the victors with eight goals and one assist for nine points with
Madison Re adding five goals and one assist and Cisar three goals and one assist.
SU outshot the Eagles, 35-15, had a 17-9 edge on groundballs and won 24 of the game's 24 draws.
Ashley MacFarlane had two saves and two caused turnovers in the winning performance.
UP NEXT
Shenandoah returns home Saturday for a 1 p.m. ODAC contest versus Randolph. It is also Senior Day for the team.
