GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Shenandoah University men's lacrosse team used a four-goal run to key a 10-9 ODAC men's lacrosse victory over host Guilford Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (5-7, 2-2 ODAC) scored the first four goals of the game and led wire-to-wire in earning the victory over the Quakers (5-5, 1-4).

Jake Green put the Hornets on the board 59 seconds into the contest with an unassisted tally before
Max Myers sandwiched a
Stephen Graham goal at 7:06 with tallies of his own at 9:35 and 4:42.
Guilford scored its initial goal 65 seconds before the end of the first, and SU extended its lead to 7-3 by halftime thanks to second quarter goals from Myers,
Zachary Heiderman, and
Austin Sydnor.
Guilford refused to fold its tents, however, and cut the deficit to just two, 8-6, as the fourth quarter dawned.
Graham opened the fourth quarter scoring with an EMO goal at 12:01 to extend the lead back out to three, and after the Quakers scored back-to-back goals at 11:57 and 8:17, Myers finished off a

Tim Marshall's club a two-goal advantage with 5:25 remaining.
Down one in the final three minutes, Guilford was off-target on five of its six shots with SU goalkeeper
Mark Isabelle making his eighth and final save to help preserve the one-goal victory.
Shenandoah outshot its hosts, 35-33, and had a 36-29 edge on groundballs. Guilford won 12 of the 23 faceoffs.
Myers led the victors with four goals with Heiderman adding two goals and an assist for three points.
