WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's tennis team earned its fifth straight victory Sunday afternoon with a 9-0 ODAC victory over Ferrum College.
Shenandoah (9-6, 6-3 ODAC) dropped just three games total in downing the Panthers (3-9, 0-5).
IN BRIEF
The women won all three doubles matches at love with
Jahveesha Combs and
Lily Kimble winning at No. 1,
Allison Cherwien and
Jada Lewis at No. 2, and
Kelly Hudak and
Erin Talko at No. 3.
Combs, Hudak, Cherwien, and Talko won at Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 6 singles at love as well.
Kimble won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 and Lewis, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5.
Hudak's victory at No. 2 was the match-clinching victory.
The shutout victory is the squad's third of the season.
