Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va - Over the weekend the women's tennis team traveled to Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va to compete in the ITA Regional.  Tanea Spruill would fall in her opening-round singles match to Swarthmore's Oviya Kumaran by a score of 6-3, 6-3.  Spruill would then have to withdraw in the consolation round due to injury.

In doubles action, Tanea Spruill and Olivia Guzzo would fall in their opening-round doubles match against Lia Melvin and Aubrey Zhou from Johns Hopkins University 8-1.  Due to the injury that Spruill suffered that caused her to withdraw from singles competition, the duo of Spruill and Guzzo also withdrew from the doubles consolation round.

The Hornets will be back on the court Wednesday, October 10th as the team will open the fall slate of matches with their first dual meet at Southern Virginia.
