ASHLAND, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's lacrosse team traveled to Ashland today for a matchup with Randolph-Macon. Even though the Yellow Jackets are a fellow ODAC member, due to an unbalanced schedule today's game was not a conference game. The Hornets (5-3) fell to the Macon 15-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Stephen Graham picked up the lone goal for the Hornets right before the half, and even though the Hornets managed 30 shots for the contest, they only managed the goal.
Mark Isabelle got the start in goal and made 11 saves in the contest.
Jack Dwyer played the last half of the fourth quarter and came up with two saves in his first extended minutes of the season.
Matt Daniel and
Stephen Graham led the way with eight combined shots on goal, with Graham being the only to capitalize. The Hornets, who have done well in the faceoff circle throughout the season, went 6-20 in the circle today, with
Austin Galler leading the way with three wins.
