RECAP

• On the first possession of the game, Bridgewater scored to open up the game, putting them up for only time in the game. Immediately after, the Hornets took possession and ran down the field and responded with an Amy Bell tally, assisted by Madison Re.
• 54 seconds later SU found the back of the net once again, as Emily Lerch picked up an unassisted goal. The scoring party continued less than 20 seconds later as Kate Vendemia connected with Ainsley Buckner for the Hornets' third goal. With the goal, Buckner earned her 200th career point.
• Lerch scored again just 19 seconds after the Buckner goal to put SU up 5-1. The teams went scoreless for the following five minutes before Cameryn Bowker scored a man-up goal. The Eagles scored two more times before the end of the first quarter as SU led 6-3 at the end of one.
• Right as the first quarter horn sounded, the Winchester skies opened up and the heavy rain started to flow down onto the field at Aikens Stadium. The Hornets didn't let the rain slow them down as within the first 70 seconds of the second, Gabriella Raspanti and Bowker had added another pair of SU goals. 
• Following a Bridgewater goal, Shenandoah won the ensuing draw control, went down the field, and fired the team's 10th goal of the evening on Re's first of the game. Minutes later Bridgewater picked up one of its 14 cards of the game. This green card led to a Buckner man-up goal to put Shenandoah up by six.
• Across the next four minutes of play BC added another pair of goals but sandwiched between the goals was a Sofia Albi goal, pushing SU's advantage to 12-6.
• Heading to the third, Bridgewater scored the first goal of the second half but SU came back with four goals scored by Re, who tallied two of the goals, Vendemia, and Bell. On Vendemia's goal was assisted by Raspanti which pushed Raspanti to 100 points in her career.
• The Hornets scored three of the next four goals to end the third frame. The final SU goal of the third put them ahead by 10, starting the running clock for the remainder of the game.
• In the fourth, it was all Shenandoah as they added four more goals to their resume coming from the sticks of Elizabeth Szell, Bell, Buckner, and Lerch.
• Buckner (6), Re (5), Vendemia (5), and Bell (5) led the Hornets in points, combining for 21. Lerch led the team in draw controls and caused turnovers with nine and two, respectively.
• The Hornets now move on to the ODAC Semifinals for the seventh consecutive season.
