Hoover Earns Her Second All-American Accolade at Outdoor Championships

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Junior Katya Hoover has earned second team All-American accolades after placing 13th in the women's high jump at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday.

Hoover cleared the 1.63m mark on her first attempt, joining nine other athletes today who also cleared the mark on their first jump.

Hoover's day started by clearing a jump of 1.58m before moving on to the next height.

The Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania native becomes a two-time All-American after placing 11th back at the indoor championships in early March. Overall the track & field program has 10 All-American accolades.
