Guzzo and Hilliard Earn Doubles Team of the Week

FOREST, Va. - Shenandoah University's Olivia Guzzo and Atlee Hilliard have been named ODAC Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Guzzo and Hillard helped the Hornets to a 4-3 victory over Southern Virginia University last Tuesday. The duo defeated SVU's No. 1 pairing 6-4, as SU went on to take all three doubles matches.

Individually, Guzzo and Hillard won their respective singles matches. Guzzo defeated Lydia Delich, 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-6), while Hillard won her match on court two in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3.

This is the first time the duo has earned the weekly honor. The Hornets round out their fall season at the Randolph Invite on November 1.
