WINCHESTER, Va. — The Shenandoah University baseball program has announced several staff updates, highlighted by the promotion of Nick Sborz '06 to full-time assistant coach. Head coach Kevin Anderson also announced the additions of alumni Kooper Anderson '23, Jacob Bell '23 '24, and CJ Morton '20 '22 as part-time assistant coaches.

Sborz transitions into a full-time role after serving in a part-time capacity for the past 15 seasons, rejoining the staff in 2011 following an initial stint from 2007–08. A former Hornet pitcher from 2002–06, Sborz has been a key figure in the program's success during his coaching tenure.

With Sborz on staff, Shenandoah has compiled 525 wins, captured four ODAC championships, and earned 10 NCAA Tournament appearances. Previously responsible for the developmental program and pitching staff, Sborz will now oversee the team's offense, day-to-day operations, and recruiting efforts.

Anderson, a former outfielder for the Hornets from 2020–23, will work with the outfielders and baserunning unit. Bell and Morton, both former pitchers, will assist with the pitching staff, with Morton also contributing to the program's recruiting.

All three alumni were members of Shenandoah's 2022 ODAC Championship team, which hosted the NCAA Winchester Regional that season.

All four coaches have officially begun their duties.
