WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Department of Intercolligiate Athletics is inducting five individuals into its Hall of Fame Class of 2026, with the week's spotlight focusing on Scott Van Dusseldorp from SU's baseball program.

Van Dusseldorp played for the Hornets from 2007-2010, helping SU reach the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship series in 2009 and 2010, with the '09 team being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2025.

In 2010, the third basemen became the first player in program history to earn conference player of the year, claiming the award in the USA South. That season Van Dusseldorp started in 47 games, drove in 64 runs, and hit .396 at the plate.

Overall, Van Dusseldorp broke program career records for games played (166), games started (163), and home runs (29), while still ranking top 10 in each. Van Dusseldorp also remains in the program's top-10 all-time in OPS, RBI, total bases, walks, and slugging percentage.

Van Dusseldorp and the rest of the inductees will be enshrined in the hall of fame on January 25, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ferrari Room at the Brandt Student Center.
