Baseball Announces 2026 Leadership Council

Garrett, Padilla, and Gilbert Named Tri-Captains

WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University baseball head coach Kevin Anderson released on Tuesday his program's leadership council for the 2026 season.

Outfielders Kyle Garrett and Jaime Padilla, along with pitcher Jacob Gilbert, were named tri-captains for the Hornets. Nine other individuals represent their class as class representatives for the program.

Dillon Mauzy - Outfielder
Will Tighe - Catcher

Sophomore Class
Matthew Atchley - Third Base
Liam Stewart - Pitcher
Samuel Vandrey - Utility

Junior Class
Nick Bell - Pitcher
Blaine Griffin - Pitcher

Senior Class
Michael Meyers - Pitcher
Jonathan Stokely - First Base

The Hornets are coming off their 11th consecutive season of 28 wins or more and will begin their 2026 season in February. The program's official schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
