FOREST, Va. – The Shenandoah University field hockey team earned nine All-ODAC honors for the 2025 season, highlighted by Reagan Flory being named ODAC Rookie of the Year and Madison Short receiving the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, as announced by the league office Tuesday.

Flory, Short, Claudia Lenahan, and Camryn DeLeva represent the Hornets on the All-ODAC First Team, while Ellie Quinn, Kierney Weigle, Ava Fields, Mallory Holup, and Cassidy Alexander were selected to the Third Team. Of Shenandoah's nine honorees, five are first-years.

Flory, a forward from Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, led the Hornets with 17 goals and 39 points, while also recording five assists. In conference play, the first-year standout scored seven goals and added an assist, highlighted by a hat trick at Roanoke. She ranks second in the ODAC in both goals and points.

Short, a defender, anchored Shenandoah's corner unit while contributing seven goals and four assists offensively. On the back line, she helped SU limit opponents to 1.58 goals per game across the season.

Lenahan, a senior midfielder, recorded career highs in goals, assists, and points while starting all 19 games. She registered points in six of the final seven contests, tallying three goals and six assists during that stretch.

DeLeva, a junior defender, has started all 60 games of her Shenandoah career. This fall, she set a career best with six goals, scoring in each of the final three regular-season games and recording a multi-point performance against Eastern Mennonite.

First-years Quinn and Wiegle both earned their first All-ODAC nods after impressive debut campaigns. Quinn totaled six goals and four assists (16 points) and scored in each of the Hornets' postseason games, including the game-tying goal with 11 seconds left against Washington and Lee in the semifinals. Wiegle matched Quinn with 16 points, scoring seven goals and adding two assists.

Fields, a first-year midfielder, was key in transition and offensive buildup. Starting every game, she logged over 1,100 minutes and scored her first career goal against Eastern Mennonite.

Holup, a senior defender, was a steady presence on the back line alongside Short and DeLeva. She helped the Hornets hold opponents to one goal or fewer in 10 games, while also adding four goals and two assists offensively.

Alexander rounds out the All-ODAC selections as a third-team goalkeeper. The first-year recorded 74 saves, including 29 in ODAC regular-season play, and posted 14 wins with a 1.80 goals-against average.

Shenandoah wrapped up the 2025 campaign with its third straight trip to the ODAC Championship, finishing with 15 wins and a 7–1 conference record.

The Hornets now await further postseason recognition, including All-Region selections.
